Not everything needs to be called “art”, not everything needs to be called “design” to extract us from our everyday existence. Sometimes, simple child-like “making” and “play” can bring joy, inspire wonder, and take us into an another kind of experience outside our ordinary experience of time. Tokyo-based Grizou’s (Gregoire Dentan & Chizu Ono) tableaux made from a combination of Lego and drawings currently on show at Muji at a shopping centre in Hong Kong.
