kuu bangkok’s suanphu house under construction.

this villa is developed by the client as a high-end villa to be rented out to an expatriate family. it is L-shaped in plan with a pool and outdoor pavilion for film projections. the house plan is kept simple and open with large planes of sliding glass panels and a play of volumes. the outside entertainment area has sinewy curves as counterpoint to the L-shaped block; the surrounding of which will be planted with lush greenery .

kuuバンコクによるsuanphuハウスの現場に行ってきました。

このプロジェクトはバンコク在住の外国人をターゲットにした高級賃貸住宅です。500平米の相当な広さの中、シンプルなアクセスと共に部屋がL字に配置されており、三方を高層マンションに囲まれているため、プール付き中庭に向いて開くかたちを採っています。開口部はどこも大きく、引き戸なので、東南アジアで大切な通風に効果的です。

TEKの書く施工図はもちろん、現場で工事を見ても、タイでの建築業界の質の高さに感心。kuu上海のスタッフをバンコクで研修させる必要があるかもしれません。（佐伯）
