in this small three-storey industrial development in kunshan, each tenant can separately rent warehousing space on the ground floor and office, showroom, and resting quarters on the upper floors. they share conference rooms, recreation, and dining facilities for their workers. we wanted to further mix their everyday experiences, so office spaces on the upper floor are kept intentionally narrow and they bend around each other like horizontal periscopes. at certain points they are able to look into each others spaces, or they have to physically pass through shared inside spaces to get to different outside spaces.

昆山にあるこの３階建ての工業施設では、それぞれのテナントが1階工場部分と上階のオフィス、ショールーム、休憩所などの部分を個々に借りることができるようになっている。会議室、レジャー施設、食堂などは従業員用にテナント間で共用される。ここでは日々の生活をさらに混在させることを考えた。2階のオフィス用スペースは敢えて狭く長くそしてテトリスのようにお互いを絡みとっている。場所によってはお互いのプライベート空間も覗き込むことができる。また、共有された内部空間を通りぬけることによって、別の外部空間にたどりつける様にも計画されている。
